About Little Bay Beach

Little Bay Beach is secluded, exquisite and almost a secret treasure. Swimming, snorkling, scuba-dive learning, fishing, relaxing or playing on the beach or in the natural rock pool with crisp, clear and calm water looking out to the ocean. It is a perfect location for beach lovers including bubs.

Little Bay Beach is secluded, peaceful and exquisite.

Come here on a weekend when the temperature is above 25 degrees and see how secluded and peaceful it is (not). Be sure to keep a hand on the little ones when first arriving, because the illegally parked cars coupled with people speeding down the beachside streets looking for parking are a recipe for tragedy. And please heed the signs that warn about taking the shortcut to the beach via the golf course that bypasses the (otherwise protected) steep stairs – I *have* actually seen people hit by golf balls while doing this, and besides, it’s not a recreational park, it’s a golf course. You might want to keep an eye on the dogs that people (illegally) bring down to the beach as well – temperature plus general canine disagreements can lead to some nasty encounters that your toddler doesn’t need to get in the middle of. Finally, it’s best to avoid swimming here for at least two days after any kind of rain – stormwater runoff renders this beach one of the city’s most unhealthy in repeated tests by Sydney Water. Otherwise come, enjoy!
