Joey Jig was lots of fun for both my one-year-old and me! We both felt really at ease in the class straight away, Alicia does a great job of remembering everyone’s names. It was amazing to watch my little one start to learn the songs & the actions, & she even learnt new skills she didn’t have before. I loved learning some new songs to sing to her at home. We will definitely be back for another term.

My son and I have been coming to Joey Jig since he was 4 months old. He is now 23 months old and we wouldn’t miss it for the world. Alicia has done such a fantastic job bringing her amazing voice, gorgeous characters, instruments and fantastic hand made additions together to entertain us every week. There is definitely nothing like it around. All the other baby/toddler groups available lack her personal and very prefessional touch. Happy mum and bubba :) :)

Fantastic class! My son has attended Joey Jig (both Be Bop and now Jump & Jive) since its first class and looks forward to the it every week. Each class is different, and new age-appropriate concepts are introduced throughout the classes (numbers, shapes, colors, etc.) There is lots of music and dancing is well and the children are encouraged to practice manners (please, thank you) and social skills (sharing, cooperation, awareness of others). Alicia is energetic and creative with loads of catchy songs and engaging activities. Highly recommended!

My daughter loves Joey Jig! She talks about music class all week and is beside herself with excitement on the days we get to go. The clever tunes, hands on instruments and how Alicia runs the class is exceptional!

Alicia is so positive and enthusiastic full of energy and joy . My daughter adores the class and I notice every week after the class she is more talkative ( baby talk) so it seems to be encouraging her ability to chat! It is lovely to see all the toddlers and babies having so much fun as they master the various musical instruments. I cant recommend it enought especially for toddlers who are a little shy like my daughter.

My little girl loves the classes – we have been going for about 6 months and she really enjoys the musical instruments and bright props. Alicia is fantastic with the children, maintaining their focus (no small feat for under 2′s!) and engaging with them. I am unfortunately moving in a few weeks and will have a go at convincing Alicia to set up a class closer to our new house!!! :)

I have been taking my son (18 mths) along to Alicia’s classes for a year now and it really is the highlight of the week. We both love music class and Alicia always engages so well with all of the children. I have never seen a child unhappy in her class and the music is always a winner with all of the children. It is enjoyed by both young and old.

I have taken my baby to lots of activities but Joey Jig is by far her favourite and she gets very excited. It is really good fun and it helps that Alicia can sing so tunefully!

Alicia has run a class for our mothers group on three occasions starting when our babies were about 3mths old. Our babies have loved the music and interaction on each occasion. Its been fabulous to see how their enjoyment of the class changes with each month. Alicia captivates the babies with her bag of muscial tricks and has always been lovely to deal with when booking in our ad-hoc classes. It’s a great class and I’d highly reccomend it to anyone looking for ways to interact with, entertain and teach their baby!

My son is now attending his second term at the Swing swing classes in Balmoral. He loves it, and I also look forward to attending every week. Alicia sings with a true passion and captivates all the little ones for the full 1/2 hour. It has a lovely personal feel, unlike some of the other activities on offer for babies, and the location is fabulous with parking and coffee shops on hand for mums catch up afterwards. A great introduction to music for your bubs, especially like me if your singing is not quite up to scratch!
