The tour offers a unique chance to discover the array of art on display in the galleries, art spaces and streets of Brunswick in an environment that is supportive of your needs and the needs of your little ones. Which means lots of stops for toilet breaks or nappy changes and absolutely no disapproving stares at tantrumming toddlers or breastfeeding bubs.
Jane O’Neill from Art Aficionado, will take parents and bubs on a pram-friendly route through a range of galleries and art spaces in Brunswick,. Brunswick is home to many practicing artists, so this tour goes right to the heart of where much of Melbourne’s art is made. With the enthusiasm and knowledge of a professional curator, Jane will provide a mix of history, interpretation and artist introductions to help explain and aid the appreciation of a number of experimental project spaces, artist-run business initiatives, street art, architecture and established galleries, such as the Counihan Gallery.
