OPEN UP – A MARKET FOR ART, DESIGN AND IDEAS UNLOCKS NEW TALENT AT DARLING QUARTER
Join us these April school holidays at Sydney’s cultural precinct, Darling Quarter, where a carefully curated group of independent artists and designers have been invited to showcase their big ideas in the world of small children.
OPEN UP will feature the Kids’ Urban Design Market, with twelve handpicked Australian kids’ design brands presenting their unique offerings in kids’ apparel, accessories, art, decorative homewares and more.
aMBUSH Gallery have created and produced this unique pop-up marketplace – consisting of six eye-catching modified shipping containers – specifically to nurture innovative local makers and encourage these young entrepreneurs to find their voice and a consumer audience.
OPEN UP will take place over two weekends during April – from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 and Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 April – between the hours of 12noon to 5pm daily, with entry free to the general public.
