Spanning a full three levels of the building and draped with 144,000 Swarovski crystal ornaments and 60,000 twinkling lights, the tree is renowned worldwide, taking over 40 hours to install made possible by a team of 72 construction technicians, engineers, lighting consultants and crystal makers.

    Snow In The QVB

This Christmas, for the first time ever, the QVB will form the backdrop for an unbelievable sight. The cavernous central dome of the Queen Victoria Building, home to the iconic QVB Swarovski Christmas Tree, will be transformed into a giant, real life snow dome as snow falls from the ancient stained glass ceiling.

Proving that sometimes seeing really is believing, snow will cascade beautifully onto the 24-metre tall QVB Swarovski Christmas Tree during select times every Thursday (6pm), Saturday and Sunday (on the hour at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm) from 17th November – 2nd December. The snowfall will enchant children as they wait to sit on Santa’s knee and remind us all of the magic of Christmas.

See the website for further information on photos with Santa, competitions and Carols.
