Maroubra Beach Playground, Beach and skate Park.

the playground is ideal for children age 5 and under. The huge shadecloth sails give heaps of shade and the reserve around the playground is large with BBQs,and plenty of places to ride a bike or trike. For older brothers and sisters, there is a big skate park near the playground. Nearest takeaway coffee is the cafe in pavilion beside the playground.

It was very rare for us as a family to enjoy a meal and coffee there. The other place is Alexandria the Ground – they have baby animals so the little one is happy to see them. As for park – my boy always enjoy the bi-centennial park. They have everything there for kids to play with and big grass area to run and to play ball.

We love taking our bikes and riding around the reserve on the paths. Kangaroos and other animals to look at. The stepping stones over the pond are definitely one of the kids faves as is feeding the ducks. & we usually end with a “performance” by them on the little amphitheatre stage.
