    The Polly Woodside was built in Belfast in 1885 and is among the best surviving example in the world of a late nineteenth century ocean-going sailing ship.

    She operated as a cargo vessel, carrying coal, nitrate and wheat between England and South America, and also visiting North America, Africa, Asia and Australia. enjoy a tour of the ship with the First mate, book your next Pirate party or bring the whole crew down on our special Pirate Sunday which happens once per month or book your next event or function at Melbourne’s most interesting maritime venue in the heart of the city.
